Lényegében teljesen a leírásnak megfelelő a szállás. A fürdőszoba hiányzott nagyon, de megvolt a maga varázsa a tengerparti esti tusolásnak is már 2 nap után... :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Maga a hely gyönyörű, nyugodt, csendes. A tulajdonos segítőkész, a házat tisztán, rendezetten kaptuk meg, még ajándék levendula zsákocskákkal is kedveskedtek. :nice: :nice:
Nezapomenutelné! Strávili jsme zde (červenec 2008) s dětmi i psem 14 dnů. Dům je prostorný, vkusně a účelně zařízený, skoro celý den v příjemném stínu borovice. Navíc zde stále mírně foukalo, takže na terase u domu byl pobyt velmi příjemný (výhled je částečně na Korčulu ale hlavně na širé moře). Paní pronajímatelka Ksenija byla moc milá, srdečná a pohostinná, ale naprosto ctila naše soukromí (přijížděla jen na základě naší předchozí domluvy). S pitnou vodou nebyl problém (nabírá se vědrem z nádrže pod terasou), druhá cisterna je na střeše koupelny za domem (tekoucí voda do umyvadla a do WC). Přímo na břehu pod domem je zástěna se sprchou na "odsolení" - moc příjemné. V kuchyni veškeré nádobí, k dispozici chladnička s mrazicím šuplíkem, funguje na na PB bombu, stejně jako sporák. Do kuchyně i na terasu je zavedeno plnohodnotné el. osvětlení. Jinde v domě elektřina není zprovozněna. Se signálem mobilu taky nebyl problém. Dále jsme měli k dispozici celou hospodářskou část - místnost na ohniště a gril a další místnost (třeba na objemná nafukovací lehátka přes noc). Koupaní: u domu prostorné betonové stupně (a rovnou hloubka) nebo na blízké oblázkové pláži (pozor, všude je hodně ježků). Voda průzračná. Zátoka celkově klidná (jen 8 domů).

Gdinj consists of several hamlets, which are separated from each other by up to 2 kilometres. At very entrance of the village there is a monument to the victims of the second World War in the shape of an obelisk with the names of the fallen on it. The hamlets of Visoka and Bonkovici dvori are a very interesting rural group. The church of Sv. Juraj (St. George) of early Renaissance style, built in the 16th century, and the cemetery are the most interesting monuments of the village of Gdinj . There is also the church of Sv. Lucija (St. Lucy) in the village.
The name of Gdinj comes from a word ""bditi"" - to stay up late, i.e. to keep vigil, which indicates that Gdinj was an important look-out post, having the same character as Zastrazisce, so it has a long history. Mounds from the Bronze Age can also be found, stretching this far on the plateau from Zastrazisce. These were Illyrian tombs of stones piled up high, and then covered with massive stone slabs. The so called Vela gomila (the big mound), 30 metres in diameter, and the one next to it, slightly smaller, were unfortunately destroyed.
In the village there is the Radovanovic house, a government listed building, with a painting collection, and a library. Gdinj has a cove, Smrska, where there is the Angelini patrician country house.Towards the west is the cove of Kozja with the stronghold of the headman Matija Bartulovic from 1700. It served as a protection from pirates.
South of Brač lies Hvar, the longest island in the Adriatic. This is an island of vineyards, olive groves and lavender. Hvar is without a doubt an exceptional island. It is characterized by pleasant winter and summer resorts, mild climate and abundant subtropical vegetation.
