Lovely, pristine, very homely and comfortable -- perfect for me and my family (husband and two teenagers) and the friends we were travelling with (mother and teenage daughter). The owner was friendly and hospitable. Trsteno is a very small place but provided an excellent overnight stop on route to our final holiday destination -- one of the islands that we couldn't get to late at night. The restaurant in town is very pleasant and the arboretum absolutely gorgeous. We didn't have time to get to the beach but I am sure it would be beautiful. I have no hesitation in recommending this holiday home -- it was outstanding.

Location Details
Trsteno
Trsteno is the oldest organized public garden in Dalmatia (1502) and presently the only arboretum in the entire coastal part of Croatia. It is rich in exotic plants like eucalyptus and camphor. Two giant plane trees over 400 years old are unique specimens of the plant in Europe. The garden is adorned by a quaint baroque fountain with figures of Neptune and nymphs.
Riviera Dubrovník
The over a thousand year old history of Dubrovnik is visible in every part of this city. The city is a living museum and a live stage, and has an ideal connection between its historical past and the modern day. It is surrounded by medieval walls that are 1940 metres long and are preserved in their original form. They are open to visitors and are the city’s greatest attraction. Since 1979 the town has been under UNSECO protection.
Dubrovnik is mainly a cultural destination, which asides from monuments of interest, offers a series of cultural events and festivals. Dubrovnik is a destination where you can enjoy a rest, and has extremely good air connections with all the larger European centres. Dubrovnik is a city that charms, a city that you fall in love with and always return to like new, to discover more unique experiences.
