A szállás 4 főnek kicsit szűkös, viszont tiszta és felszerelt! A szállásadó pár nagyon kedves! Amit mi hiányoltunk, hogy nincs mikró a konyhában!
lovely and clean little studio in a family house on the side of Drasnice -away from the busy centre, comfortable double bed and bunkbed to accommodate up to 4 people, little kitchenette with 2 hot plates to cook small meals plus fridge-freezer and sink, small balcony with seaview and very needed aircon, hosts are very friendly got a bowl of fresh figs to welcome us, lady host makes gorgeous cocktails, the host took us on a boat ride to a lovely beach nearby, you can hire boat and book boat trips and water sports directly with the host, the stony beach (swimming shoes needed) is about 20 meters from the house with sunbeds and umbrellas available, only problem we found were 70 stairs leading down from the road to the house. 4 restaurants in Drasnice centre with wide choice of pastas pizzas and of course Croatian cuisine, bakery, food shop, ice cream and bars and harbour are just walking distance from the house, we had a lovely holiday only regret was that it was too short

The long pebbed beaches, crystal clear blue sea and mild mediteranean climate along with comfortable private accomodation and friendly people make Drasnice an ideal place for a family vacation. Drasnice is mentioned for the first time in a Turkish document in 1523, at the same time as a church of sv. Jure. The church is redesigned in baroque style in 18th century. It was also destroyed in a earthquake, and in its place a new one was built with many incorporated parts from the old church. The remains of material culture in the area of Drasnice have existed since 8000 years, when an our coast and in the whole Mediterranean area the culture of the New Stone Age or the Neolithic expanded. On this area you can trace the continuity of life and settlements dating back to prehistory. Today Drasnice have grown into a lovely place alongside the shore with a beautiful harbor.
Drasnice also offer water sport possibilities such as parasailing, waterskiing, jet-ski, rent-a-boat, etc. Beaches have small pebbles and are suitable also for small children. For visitors who like swimming in natural surroundings there are small secluded beaches in nature with no houses around only about 1 minute drive away, it is also easy to walk there. Very often you will be able to see charming dolphins, what particularly makes children happy.
Makarska is a picturesque town of impressive beauty which lives off tourism and for tourism; a town of youth, culture, sports and entertainment. It was built around a natural port protected by the charming peninsula of Saint Peter and cape Osejava, and it is the biggest and only such port between the Cetina and Neretva estuaries. The town’s history is best discovered in the Franciscan Monastery as well as through the works of art kept in the sacral buildings of the Makarska Littoral and whose authors are famous Croatian painters originating from this region.
The Biokovo Mountain, a majestic gift of nature, emerges from the pearly sea. If you are craving for adventure and attractive sports challenges, Makarska offers an abundance of sports facilities (paragliding, mountain biking, descending into caves and water sports). The beautiful pebble beach stretches for 2 km along the entire town.
Numerous accommodation facilities with indoor and outdoor pools, including the medical rehabilitation centre “Biokovka” with the most up-to-date fitness centre and complete physical therapy, make Makarska the favourite tourist destination.
