Jezera is a fishing village on the island of Murter, only 30 m from the mainland which is connected by a bridge in Tisno. Due to the naturally protected harbour in the shape of a horseshoe it is a place where boats come to moor.
There is an ACI marina open year round and 2 smaller campsites. From the bell tower of the parish church of Gospa od zdravlja [Our Lady of Health], there is a breathtaking view of the town and the archipelago of islands and islets. The stone houses and gardens speak about ancient times through the crowns of ivy, almonds, and mulberries, and on other side of the island the stone piles and walls amongst the vineyards, fig trees and olive groves keep the secrets of the ancient inhabitants of this region.
Another picturesque island is Murter, having a surface area of 18 square kilometers. Murter is an island of fishermen, olive groves and shipbuilders.
