We offer accommodation in a newly renovated building, which opened its first season in 2009, for fans of true Robinson Crusoe tourism. This is an old stone house in one of the numerous bays in the northeastern part of the island of Hvar. The house is isolated, right by the sea. Below the house is a pebble beach. In addition to the uninhabited half-demolished houses, there are only 2 other reconstructed stone houses in the bay, which, however, are not for rent. Most of the time they remain empty, except for the days when their owners come here to spend time off. You will probably be alone in the bay. The house is about a 2-hour walk from the only road on the island. The nearest resort on the island is Sućuraj, 4 nautical miles (approx. 6.5 km) away. You can get to the bay practically only with your own boat from the resort of Sućuraj (on the island, ferry connection to Drvenik) or from the resort of Drašnice on the Makarska Riviera, which is 5.5 NM (approx. 9 km) away. The transfer from Drašnice is provided by the owner of the house with his fast motor boat. Transfer to the island and a parking space for your car in Drašnice are included in the house rent. During your stay, you have at your disposal a four-meter boat with a 4-horsepower engine, for a fee of €40/day (it can only be rented to guests with captain's exams), which you can use along the coast of the island to reach, for example, Sućuraj or the shop at the campsite in Mlaska Bay. where it is also possible (for a fee of approx. 5€/day) to park your car (approx. 15 minutes of sailing). If you want to get to know the beautiful island of Hvar and visit historical and cultural monuments in the cities of Starigrad and Hvar, we recommend this option of parking directly on the island. If you don't have the captain's exams, you can rent 1-2 kayaks to get to the campsite where the shop is located. The owner can also, upon agreement, take you from the Robinson house to the Mlaska camp or another resort. You can arrange more frequent supply with the owner of the building - for an additional fee of €20 for 1 service. The owner of the building lives in Drašnice, in case of need (food import, transfer to the mainland to see a doctor) you can contact him on his mobile phone. The signal is good throughout the bay. If you don't mind somewhat spartan conditions and the feeling of being cut off from the surrounding hectic world, then you will have a great chance to experience an unforgettable romantic vacation in untouched nature and in a stylishly furnished house on the seashore. Due to the difficult accessibility of the place, this robinsonada is more suitable for a group of adults.
