Byli jsme se podívat v Sumartinu před 3 roky a byli nadšeni z krásné přírodní pláže, ke které vedla úzká pěšinka borovým lesem a kde bylo pár lidí (sv. Roch). Letos už tam byla v lese cesta vytvořena buldozerem, mnoho aut parkujících až u pláže a obří nafukovací monstrum na vodě, prostě Disneyland a konec klidu. Chodili jsme potom jinam, kde jsme byli spokojeni.

Majitel byl velice vstřícný, komunikoval s námi už během cesty tam, odvezl zavazadla z přístavu, i když to bylo cca 150m, na všem jsme se v pohodě domluvili.

Apartmán odpovídal údajům a fotkám na webu, některé věci byly i navíc (WC papír, prostředek na nádobí atd.), pouze bych doporučil po sezoně kvalitní údržbu (odpadávající podlahové lišty, vyčištění klimatizace apod.).

Location Details
Sumartin
Sumartin is the youngest fishermen's village and ferry port on island Brač. There is the Museum of the monastery of fra Andrija Kacic - Miosic which has worthy paintings (among them especially the early baroque Last Supper/ Posljednja vecera from the second half of the 17th century). The documents written in Bosančica from the period of 1665 - 1755 are valuable, too. The village set in the vicinity of big quarries, used the stone for the paving of lanes, for the dents on the house walls. Near cemetry of Sumartin there are two nice pebble beaches.
Island Brač
The island of Brač is the highest and third largest island in the Adriatic Sea. The island is well known for its quality stone used to build many palaces. This is the island with the only stone mason school in Croatia.
